Let’s be honest, it’s an unwritten rule that Christmas normally starts on November 1st because after all, who wants to wait? Unfortunately, this year is anything but normal, and November has meant the closing of hospitality doors once again. However, Christmas will happen this year and never has the 12 days of Christmas been more accurate. We are all familiar with the lyrics to “12 Days of Christmas” and as nice as it would be to have a pond full of seven swans a swimming, here at NFIC, our gifts are always going to be slightly more fulfilling!
Instead of going the traditional (okay, over-the-top) route and hiring 12 actual drummers to serenade you all, we are providing you with our top 12 ice cream flavours to help you get in the festive spirit!
On the first day, we are keeping things classic with our Vanilla ice cream. The smoothest of textures is combined with a light vanilla flavour and we are telling you now, there is no better complement to the first mince pie of the year! We are drooling at the thought.
On the second day, we are opting for Lotus Caramelised Biscoff. With subtle notes of cinnamon, it’s definitely a step in the right direction and will certainly start getting those Christmas taste buds tingling. We know there’s bound to be a banana loaf freshly baking in your oven and serving it with this ice cream will really take things up a level.
Of course, on the third day, alcohol is necessary (well done for getting through 2020). Another timeless classic, our take on rum & raisin will provide the boozy hit you need for the weekly zoom quiz with its rum flavoured ice cream base crammed with sweet and juicy raisins.
After overdoing it on the rum on day three, it’s time for Coffee Mocha Swirl to cure the slight hangover and bring you back to life. This is a tempting combination of rich coffee dairy ice cream swirled with chocolate sauce for good measure!

A fresh start and a little sophistication never hurt anyone which is where our Rhubarb and Ginger is the perfect solution. An English country classic of rhubarb ice cream balanced with fiery stem ginger pieces sweet rhubarb ripple – delicious.
