We know we can’t enjoy our usual Christmas activities, parties and events, but we can still make the most of spending time with those closest to us and that is all that matters!
Now we are well into December, we are ready to kick off our next edition of our “12 days of” delicious ice cream flavours to celebrate the season. Here at NFIC, we love nothing more than coming up with unique flavours that we know our customers will love and we are excited to share more of our seasonal favourites!
On the sixth day, Christmas is very much on the on the horizon and the only way to celebrate is our Salted Caramel ice cream. Featuring a tantalisingly smooth salted caramel ice cream base with a salted caramel ripple for good measure. We know this is a firm favourite year-round but there’s something about it that just gives us all the festive feels!
On day seven, why not make some ridiculously tasty festive freak shakes with our one and only, Malted Milkshake ice cream? The combination of our traditional dairy recipe combined with malt extract and blended to perfection, makes it so easy to create delicious malt shakes within minutes. If you want to go all out on indulgence, don’t forget whipped cream and all the festive trimmings too!
On the eighth day, our Honey & Fig ice cream really makes us think about traditional Christmas cakes bursting with fruit, nuts and spices. We know most people either ‘love it or hate it’ when it comes to Christmas cake but trust us, there will be no question with our Honey & Fig ice cream.
Christmas is getting closer and that means it’s time for the real showstoppers to come out. It’s never too early for a G&T in our book and our Gin & Pink Grapefruit Sorbet provides the ultimate G&T experience. This flavour is particularly close to our hearts because it is made with local gin from Twisted Nose and we love supporting local businesses whenever we can.
With just three days to go, we are taking it back to a real classic with our Clotted Cream ice cream which is the perfect complement to any festive dessert. On the eleventh day, it’s so close to Christmas and the celebrations can really start and what better way to do so than with our Champagne Sorbet? We enjoy ours as a delicate palate cleanser before dessert!
Finally, we’ve made it, and Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without our Mince Pie ice cream. This is one of our real oldies but everything about it is so festive and nostalgic, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Christmas. If you do get the chance to visit and support local restaurants over the Christmas period, you might even recognise some of NFIC festive flavours on the menu!
