Everyone loves an excuse to enjoy a scoop or two of their favourite ice creams… so why not make the most of the fact that July is officially Ice Cream Month! All of us here at New Forest Ice Cream have taken the time to select our favourite flavours from our 500ml tubs of scrumptious artisan ice cream.
Iced Latte!
First up is our delicious Great Taste Award-Winning Iced Latte ice cream. This is always going to be one our favourites here at HQ. We love having this on its own or popping a scoop into a coffee, either a neat shot of espresso or add into an actual ice latte for an indulgent summer cooler. We are not surprised that this won a Great Taste Award as even Coffee aficionados have been converted by this flavour!
Mint Chocolate Crisp
Next up is our divine Mint Chocolate Crisp, which is a twist on the traditional mint choc chip. We decided to create a mint dairy ice cream and add mint crisp pieces covered in chocolate which gives a unique crunch amongst the smooth dairy ice cream. We believe the best way to enjoy this delicious ice cream is by wedging a scoop between two gooey chocolate chip cookies.
Chocolate Ganache
Third on our list is the infamous Chocolate Ganache! This is the perfect flavour for any chocolate lover. The Chocolate dairy ice cream includes a chocolate ripple and chocolate shavings, and we just cannot get enough. Our favourite way to serve this flavour is simply on its own; the richness of the cocoa is scrumptious enough!
Rhubarb and Ginger
And finally, say hello to our Rhubarb and Ginger Ice Cream! With a base of Oriental ginger ice cream and a rhubarb ripple running through, this takes a classic flavour to a whole next level. Here at New Forest Ice Cream, we love serving this scoop with a warm rhubarb crumble or it can wonderfully enhance an apple pie. The warming flavours of the ginger make it an extremely versatile ice cream to be enjoyed in the middle of summer or in the depths of autumn and winter.
